Zoom or Coffee Meetings

01. What is a pre-wedding Zoom Call / Coffee Meet up
Before booking, I include a relaxed consultation, either over Zoom or, if you’re local, over coffee. This isn’t a sales call. It’s a proper conversation.
Your wedding photographer is with you for such a huge part of the day, from the quiet nerves in the morning through to the chaos of the evening. So it matters that it feels right. Not just the photography, not just the editing style, not just the price, but the person.
You should feel comfortable with me. You should feel like I understand the kind of wedding you’re planning. You should be able to ask questions, talk through the day, and get a sense of how I work before making the decision to book.
We’ll talk about your plans, your venue, what matters most to you, and how you want the day to feel. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Most couples don’t. It’s simply a chance to talk things through and see whether my approach feels right for your wedding.

02. Do you need one?
I think so, yes.
But not because you need to sit through a formal meeting or have every detail planned before you book. You don’t. The point is to make sure we’re the right fit for each other.
I choose my couples as much as they choose me.
That might sound strange at first, but it’s important. I don’t want to photograph every wedding. I want to work with couples who trust the process, value real moments, and don’t want their day turned into a photoshoot.
If you’re looking for someone to stage every second, control the whole day, or spend hours creating endless posed images, I’m probably not the right photographer for you. And that’s completely fine.
For me, the best wedding photography happens when there’s trust. When you’re not worrying about the camera. When you know I’m there to capture the day properly without taking over. When you can relax, enjoy it, and let the real moments happen.
That starts before the wedding. It starts with a conversation.
