Zeynep and Jacob’s wedding at Beamish Hall had all the right ingredients.

Beautiful weather, black tie, a stunning bespoke dress, elegant styling, and one of the North East’s most recognisable venues. Beamish Hall is always a pleasure to photograph, especially in summer when the gardens are full of life and the evening light opens up across the lawns.

I started the morning with bridal preparations and details. Zeynep’s bespoke dress was incredible, finished with a signature bow that gave the whole look such a strong, elegant feel. Paired with the black tie styling throughout the day, everything felt timeless and beautifully considered.

The ceremony took place in the Monboucher Room, one of Beamish Hall’s most atmospheric spaces. Afterward, guests moved into the gardens for a relaxed drinks reception in the sunshine, with the venue providing a perfect backdrop for natural moments, portraits and family photographs.

Later in the evening, we made the most of the golden hour light across the large grass area. It’s one of the things I love most about Beamish Hall, when the light is right, there’s so much space to create soft, warm portraits without overcomplicating things.

The day ended with the cake cut, first dance, and the start of the evening party, bringing everything together in a way that felt relaxed, stylish and full of warmth.
